Her latest collection is run no more and no less than by Zaha Hadid, the prominent Anglo-Iraqi architect.

The Brazilian firm, based in Sao Paulo, launched its latest collection at London Fashion Week. There Hadid said: “I am 30 years of research in different areas of architecture and design, and this was a very challenging project, not only design but also by the technical aspects. Plastic is the core material for the production of Melissa. It took years of research to finding the formula that would provide elasticity, impermeability and resistance to shoes.
One of his last inventions was the Velvet Melflex, which is waterproof and has the same ending that the real velvet, just … plastic!
The joint line Melissa + Zaha Hadid comes in eight colors and is now available in stores.
